His most recent solo recording, “Tangos”, 2014, was in the top 10 of the indie and contemporary jazz charts for over 5 months. “One World, Two Guitars” is an exciting duo project with the virtuoso Sicilian guitarist, Francesco Buzzurro. The duo tours regularly in America and Europe.
His release ‘L.A. CHILLHARMONIC’ features Alex Acuna, Brian Bromberg, Vinnie Colaiuta, Jeff Lorber, Eric Marienthal, Michael Paulo, Greg Adams, and the Tower of Power horn section.
Jeremiah “Miah” Palmer is a professional drummer from the San Francisco East Bay area. Having started his percussion instruction in elementary school at age 9, he proceeded through high school playing in the concert, symphonic, jazz, and marching bands.
In 2003 Miah moved to Los Angeles to study at the Musicians Institute (M.I.) where he received his Journeyman and Professional certificates in Percussion and his Bachelor of Music Degree in Drum Performance. In 2006, he accepted a position with The Van-Dells and a move was made to Nashville. There he toured a majority of the Eastern coast. After returning to L.A. in 2007, Miah was hired on as a LPW (Live Playing Workshop) instructor, classroom drummer, and teaching assistant at Musicians Institute.
Miah is currently playing gigs with bands, solo, and recording artists. He also works with music producers (playing drums and percussion for placement in TV, movies, online, and more).
